The R4 card was the first R4 device to be released from r4ds.com, it offers DS console users the ability to add a Micro SD memory card to their console.

Later the R4 SDHC was released which allows users to add either a Micro SD or SDHC memory card, the Micro SDHC memory cards support up to 32GB of data on a single memory chip.
